Our story

Our life as a winemaking family began rather inconspicuously. At the time, we hadn’t really thought about it. We had just moved to Ružová Dolina and the scent of grapes and wine from the neighboring gardens filled the air around us. Listening enthusiastically about its history, we learned a lot about what the region was known for. Like the Portugieser growing on the slopes and people spending evenings in the valley over a bottle of wine. It used to be adorned with summer villas owned by Trnava’s upper class, there was a little cafe called u Viržíčiek and a number of local winemakers lived nearby. It was a valley where people gathered from far around to enjoy roast geese and drink the local wine produced from the vineyards behind the windows. 

Such a charming place easily inspires feelings of romance. And so the parents planted their first four hectares of vineyards.
